Save some face, you know you've only got one. Change your ways while you're young.

Hello. I live in Spain! Yeah, I got a job... Andalucía. Moving again, luckily my life fits into one (rather large) case.

The other morning I woke up to the sound of lots of people talking and curiously looked out the front window to see a street market practically on my doorstep! I was so excited, it was brilliant. I took photos out of my window and dragged my friend down to have a look. Then we played the Russian Roulette comida game, which basically entails eating something even though you don't have a clue what it is. I got some fried cheesy, potato thing...I survived. My Spanish lessons have been going great. I am the class clown, it's a tough job but someone's gotta do it.

Gosh, I'll really miss the cojones off Valencia -yes, I am allowed to invent my own cojones sayings, feel free to do the same- but, I'm also excited about new Andalusian adventures to come. I've got no time to think about boys, that's for sure...

Oh, and I'm doing Te's Postcard Service again! So, email me an address if you'd like a postcard from Valencia:

  1. thanks for painting such a beutiful picture of where you are living. it sounds so beautiful and that market sounds so amazing right outside your door! im so happy for you that you got a job so you can now stay in spain. the spanish lessons dont sound so much fun but just think, soon you could be writing posts in spanish (but plz dont coz then we wont understand!) have a wonderful day x

  2. WINNER! That sounds brilliant! Markets are fantastic, I remember the ones in Rome were just magical. We really don't get anything like that here. =(

I'll have another postcard, pretty please? <3 I'm going to put them up on my wall....

  3. Bam - It'll be on its way tomorrow =)

  4. Yay! Andalusia, my favourite. xx

  5. HEYYYY! XDDD awesome awesome photo. The page loaded and I saw that gorgeous photo and I do think my breath was temporarily suspended. Heh I always get that feeling with your blog! :)

Thanks so so much for your really sweet comment, Te. I read and re-read it and it made so much sense... I guess sometimes though the obvious is staring at you right in the face it still takes someone else to say it before it really sinks in? Thanks for taking the time to read through and understand it...

Heyy woww it seems like you're really having a good time in Spain! :)) Heh if i'm not mistaken this entry seems a whole lot happier than before! Are you going to show us the photo of the streetmarket from your window? :) it sounds pretty darn amazing!!

and hey i'd loove to exchange postcards with you! do you have a permanent address that I could send you a lame-o Singapore postcard to? :)) will email ya anyway so that we can keep the addresses secret!
